Jayse Hansen is a visual artist who specialises in designing fictional user interfaces (UI) and data design for films. His latest work was in The Avengers, where he led the team designing and animating the Helicarier screens and Iron Man’s all new and upgraded Mark VII Heads Up Display (HUD).
The attention to detail in the designs is fantastic (Iron Man’s flight menu was designed with input from an A-10 Fighter Pilot), and even if I wasn’t a big geek, I’d be hugely impressed by the thought that has gone into this. All work was done in Illustrator, After Effects and Cinema 4d.
