For people suffering from degenerative conditions, the things that make the biggest impact on the quality of life aren’t always improvements in treatment, but adaptations that make it possible to do everyday task we take for granted.
So this is a lovely idea – a spoon that uses stabilising technology that was designed to keep camera shots steady to help patients suffering from Parkinson’s disease. They’re still quite expensive, at $295, but if you donate the money Life Design Labs will provide one to a patient in need:
